Zoe ("we", "us", "our") is a faith companion service operated by Freedomology LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our SMS-based service.

1. Information We Collect

Phone Number: We collect your phone number when you text our service number. This is required to send and receive messages.

Message Content: We store the content of messages you send to and receive from Zoe to provide personalized spiritual guidance and maintain conversation context.

Personal Details You Share: If you share your name, prayer requests, or other personal information during conversations, we store this to personalize your experience.

Church Affiliation: If your church provides Zoe to its members, we associate your account with that church.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide personalized spiritual encouragement, Bible study, and pastoral care via SMS
• To remember your preferences, prayer requests, and conversation history
• To provide aggregated, anonymized usage trends to church leaders (never individual messages)
• To detect crisis situations and provide appropriate safety resources

3. What We Do NOT Do

• We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties
• We do NOT share your individual messages with church leaders without your explicit consent
• We do NOT use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
• We do NOT share your information with third parties except as needed to operate the service (e.g., Twilio for SMS delivery, Google for AI processing)

4. Your Rights

Data Control: You can ask Zoe to forget specific information at any time by texting "forget" followed by what you'd like removed.

Opt Out: You can stop using Zoe at any time by texting STOP. We will delete your data upon request.

Data Access: You can request a copy of your stored data by contacting us at support@freedomology.com.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Messages are transmitted securely and stored in encrypted databases.

6. Data Retention

We retain your conversation history and personal data for as long as your account is active. If you opt out, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Zoe:

• Twilio: SMS delivery
• Google Gemini: AI-powered conversation
• Stripe: Payment processing (for church subscriptions)

Each service has its own privacy policy and handles data according to their terms.

8. Children's Privacy

Zoe is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of significant changes via SMS.
